[Pig Stuff]

I listened to Discovery pretty much all day yesterday. It was quite a discovery on my behalf. Daft Punk is somehow such a wonderful mix of Mr. Oizo, Green Velvet, Todd Rundgren, and Cake. I can't decide on a favorite track. I haven't listened to Homework yet.

My one criticism: "Crescendolls" and "Superheroes" don't remind me of robotic androids.  Undecided

I remember when "One More Time" was kind of a hit during my childhood. The music video was full of Japanese animation (that series related to Daft Punk, right?), and I had no idea that it was Daft Punk.

Human After All - The first track was very promising, but the next was disappointing in my opinion. The Prime Time of Your Life just didn't have the kick that every other Daft Punk song has. Robot Rock was the true defining track of the album with its focus on guitars. Steam Machine is just a good song. Make Love and The Brainwasher are incredible. On/Off is a fine interlude. The rest of the album kept my interest. I felt that every song except On/Off was one minute and a half too long. It wasn't as repetitive as I expected.

Overall: 9/10

Daft Club - This album is a musical monster. Nuts.
